Interfaith visit to the Dul Nourain Mosque in Qusra

A delegation of Jerusalem PeaceMakers, led by Rabbi Menachem Froman, joined a delegation of members of the
the Eretz Shalom movement visted the Dul Nourain Mosque in Qusra village located 28 kilometers Southeast of Shechem (Nablus) on September 6, 2011.

On the night of September 4-5, 2011 the Al-Nurayn mosque was vandalized.

The delegation met with the people of the village and expressed their condemnation of the fire in the mosque.

Rabbi Froman expressed his view that this was a heinous crime for which the perpetrators must be severely punished. He added also that according to “divine law,” it is absolutely forbidden to vandalize any house of worship, including synagogues mosques and churches.
