Closing peace circle on the Old City rooftops overlooking the Holy Sepulchere church, Dome of the Rock and the Mt. of Olives
Jerusalem PeaceMakers facilitated the Jerusalem Earth Walk as part of the global Earth Walk 2011 on June 21, 2011. Coming together were Israelis, Palestinians from the Hebron area and Peacemakers from numerous countries. We started with an opening prayer and dialogue circle in ‘Gai Ben Hinnom’ valley below the Cinemateque in Jerusalem, walked together up Mt. Zion, through Zion Gate. We held a closing peace circle on the Old City rooftops overlooking the Holy Sepulchere church, Dome of the Rock and the Mt. of Olives.
