The Jerusalem Peace House is facilitated by Haj Ibrahim Abu el Hawa who earnestly believes that all residents of Jerusalem, regardless of faith persuasion or political affiliation are really good people.
Haj Ibrahim grew up and lives on the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, where his family has lived for 1,400 years. He is called the ambassador of goodwill from the Mount of Olives because he has devoted his life to work for peace and reconciliation. Ibrahim works closely with the Jahalin Bedouin in the West Bank. He travels widely sharing the message that peace is possible between Israelis and Palestinians. He is a family man with many children and grandchildren.
Haj Ibrahim welcomes everyone to the Jerusalem Peace House, where people can experience first hand the goodness that happens in the land between the descendants of the seeds of the Biblical Abraham/Ibrahim, who Haj Ibrahim is named after. At the house people share with one heart, one body, hand in hand to bring support to their fellow Human Beings. Haj Ibrahim provides all who come to the Jerusalem Peace House an opportunity to love one another, help one another, share bread, smell the same air, drink the same water and eat the same food.
